These candle holders are made locally in the Niagara region by my cousin who is living with schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia often starts slowly, and when the symptoms first appear, usually in adolescence or early adulthood, they may seem more bewildering than serious. However, once it has taken hold, schizophrenia tends to appear in cycles of remission and relapse. It is youth’s greatest disabler, and living with this illness can be very difficult on both the individual and their family. Therefore, in addition to directly supporting my cousin by purchasing his product, 100% of the profit from each sale will go back to the community program that is supporting him and others in similar situations.

The smooth pillars from Huckleberry Hives are everything I look for in a quality beeswax candle. They have a well balanced base, a uniform surface, a safe to burn cotton wick, and top quality 100% beeswax that is not been mixed with additives. Huckleberry Hives' smooth pillars have a beautiful yellow beeswax colour and also a heavenly, sweet honey scent!
