This honey is a blend of raw honey and Turkey Tail Mushroom Powder by Harmonic Arts in BC, to fortify immunity and restore gut balance. I took care to blend this recipe so that each tablespoon of honey contains the recommended daily dose, 1/4 tsp (625mg) of the Turkey Tail mushroom in each tablespoon of honey.
The flavour is sweet honey with earthy notes from the mushrooms, and it has fast become my preferred way to take my mushroom powder. I originally thought of trying a blend like this because I'd forget to use my powder from Harmonic Arts and it would harden in the jar (even with the little moisture packet) and this solves that problem for me!
Serving suggestion: 1 tablespoon
