How is creamed honey made? Creamed honey does not have any cream or added ingredients. It is honey that has been put through a process of stirring at a cool temperature around 10-13 degrees Celsius, which is the optimal temperature for honey to crystallize. Beekeepers often use finely crystallized honey from a previous batch to "seed" the next batch, mixing the smoothly crystallized honey into liquid honey to help speed up the spread of fine crystals throughout the batch.
