Refund policy

Returns
Huckleberry Hives' return policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately Huckleberry Hives can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, i.e. have all tags/labels still attached and no product used. If the product was shipped and arrived damaged, you must include photos of the packaging materials and damaged items in your return request. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Queens and nucs cannot be returned or refunded once they have left the care and premises of Huckleberry Hives. Should you have a concern regarding your queen or nuc please contact Huckleberry Hives  - I (Jodi) will do my best to help you solve any problems.

Buzz About Bees hive tour tickets: If the tour is cancelled due to weather, the ticket value will automatically be transferred to store credit OR you may request a refund, less a 5% processing fee. Unfortunately, if weather gets in the way, the time I spend preparing the area and materials for the tour as well as the transaction and ticket app fees still exist and are a cost to me. The 5% processing fee allows me to at least recover a portion of the costs of the online ticket transactions, as I don't get those fees back from the payment processor or ticket app I use. Meanwhile a full store credit allows me to transfer your ticket value in full so that you can either a) try booking a different tour date if suitable or b) try out a few of my products.   

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, Huckleberry Hives will send you an email to notify you that your returned item has been received. Huckleberry Hives will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact Huckleberry Hives at sales@huckleberryhives.ca.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Huckleberry Hives, 4505 Line 46 RR2, Gadshill ON N0K 1J0, Canada

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Your original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and Huckleberry Hives has paid for return shipping, the cost of return shipping (if applicable) will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Huckleberry Hives doesn’t make any guarantees on behalf of any shipping companies or that Huckleberry Hives will receive your returned item.
