Pollinator Plants

Here at Huckleberry Hives, I strongly recommend beginning your journey in supporting bees by gardening for bees before you make the jump into keeping honey bees. There are over 400 species of pollinators, including native bees, that will benefit from your pollinator garden! You can also benefit, since there are so very many plants that support pollinators and produce delicious foods (and herbal medicines) for your family.

I don't typically sell pollinator plants directly from Huckleberry Hives, however, I work part-time with my sister business, Silver Creek Nursery, where you can find a huge selection of orchard fruit trees and other permaculture plants that are pollinator friendly!! Right now, we are trying out a collaboration where I've curated a selection of plants for you as shown in the collection below. Note: these ship separately, please read and be aware of all details before purchasing!

Additionally, you may find the book Honey Plants of Eastern Canada useful for your pollinator gardening, as well as other books here and I have blog posts in the works!
